Belek
Belek is a Turkish region of Antalya, located about 35 km from Antalya airport which is worth a 40 minute to 1 hour drive to this heavenly place.
It has a long and wide sandy beach, about 30 km long. Part of the beach's nature reserve remains protected today because the sea turtles keep their eggs in the warm sand.
The stunningly beautiful beach is just as attractive as the nature reserve in the hinterland with its forests of fragrant pines and eucalyptus. Its forests were planted by Sultan Abdulaziz II for long walks.
In building this region, the greatest work has been to take care of the conservation of environmental needs while providing an infrastructure for modern and harmonious tourism. Belek is the ideal destination for holidaymakers, families with children and sportsmen. All hotels are equipped with modern facilities and are characterised by chic and attractive architecture, with comfort and a wide variety of leisure and sports facilities. Not to be forgotten is the famous Belek golf course, which remains a cultural favourite for all holidaymakers. The golf courses are world famous. The Belek Golf Centre currently offers 11 clubs each with one or two courses of 9 or 18 holes, Pro Shop and several introductory courses for the winter season are available.
The Belek area is the ideal place for shopping, unlike many other places in Turkey. Those who appreciate Turkish products will have more choice in Antalya or on the coast. For jewellery, manufacturers allow you to see the work of goldsmiths in Aspendos and Antalya. In the villages of Kadriye and Belek you can also take a walk.
Not only chooping, Belek offers you cabaret and folklore shows which are offered by the hotels. The entertainment consists of games and sports activities.
