Construction of Dubai Miracle Garden and Butterfly Garden
The project is the result of collaboration between Dubailand and the destination Dubai Properties Group, as part of the agreement with Akar Landscaping and Agriculture Company.
The construction of the project was carried out in several stages.
The first phase was completed in 2 months by the hands of 400 workers.
Then the second phase started in mid-June and was completed in October 2013.
The wonderful final construction featured retail shops, the floral clock and the spectacular Dubai Butterfly Garden.
In keeping with the attraction's romantic theme, it opened on Valentine's Day 2013, winning the Garden Tourism Award in 2015.
Overall, the project expenditure was $11 million; €10.5 million; ensuring that the destination will entice you with its exceptional beauty. In 2013, the first phase of the project was launched, which occupied 1950 square metres.
This phase of the project took two months and over 350 workers, but the results were worth it.
The progressive development of the project in phase two; which started in June 2013, included an expansion of approximately 71% and the construction of the car; increasing the total area of the garden to almost 185806.08 square metres.
Phase two included the addition of the floral clock, retail shops, mosques and most importantly the butterfly garden.
Building operations
When it comes to ensuring that the garden always remains exceptional. The flowers are maintained by drip irrigation with reuse of treated wastewater. On average, 757,082 litres are used in one day to make the flowers thrive.
As part of a creative outreach to the Dubai Miracle Garden, in 2015, the Dubai Butterfly Garden was opened, to become the largest butterfly sanctuary.
The Garden is home to 26 species in over 15,000 butterflies.
Dubai Miracle Garden and Walt Disney Company reached an agreement on the construction of the famous Mickey Mouse topiary which was unveiled in 2018.

Guinness World Records declared the world's largest flower-construction of an A380 airbus. The structure spans 18 metres.

Rules inside the garden
The use of professional cameras or drones inside the garden is not permitted.
Professional filming is only permitted with the permission of the special management.

Tickets for the garden cost €10.5 for adults and €8 for children aged 3 to 12. Tickets for the Butterfly Garden cost €13 as it is a separate attraction.
Also, only buy tickets at the official ticket office. All tickets purchased outside the vendor are considered invalid. The garden opens at 9am and closes at 9pm on weekdays, but opens at 9am and closes at 11pm on weekends. Expect a spectacular experience when visiting this lucrative venue.
