This 9-day trip to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Rub' al Khali will take us to the United Arab Emirates, a Middle Eastern country consisting of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khaimah, Sarja and Umm al-Qaywayn, of which we will get to know some of its most tourist attractions.
The destination of many, this trip to Dubai will initially take us to the capital of one of the emirates, with the same name, known by many for being one of the most impressive and luxurious cities in the world.
The emirate is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf, surrounded by desert and borders the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman and Ras al-Khaimah, as well as the Sultanate of Oman.
Due to the high temperatures, the best time to visit Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Rub' al Khali is between October and March, when temperatures, although often above 30 degrees Celsius, are more stable and don't exceed 40-45 degrees Celsius in July and August and can reach over 50 degrees Celsius in some parts of the desert.
With a relatively recent history, the people of this emirate were dedicated to the pearl trade until the 20th century, when oil was discovered in Dubai and caused both the economy and the administration of Dubai to change radically, focusing on construction, the financial sector, trade and also to a large extent tourism, especially focused on shopping and luxury brands, making many tourists have a trip to Dubai on the horizon, to get to know this city that today is capable of beating any record.
And we cannot forget that in the city you can visit such incredible and famous places as the Burj Al Arab hotel, the only one in the world with 7 stars, the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world with 828 metres high and the islands The World and The Palm Islands, both artificially built as residential complexes and which are two of the most famous icons of the city and the world.
Like Dubai, the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, another of the seven emirates, is the largest with almost 87% of the area of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Both the country's capital and the emirate's capital is Abu Dhabi, known for the spectacular Sheikh Zayed Mosque and for being the seat of the President of the UAE.
Although the emirate also has a share of income from tourism, the vast majority of its revenue comes from construction, industry and financial services.

If you have the time, any trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi should include a couple of days to visit Rub'al Khali, which is said to be the largest sand desert in the world, part of the Arabian Desert, one of the most inhospitable places on the planet, where temperatures can reach 55 degrees in summer and which, interestingly, is also one of the most oil-rich places in the world.
Although this is not a place to travel lightly, due to its high temperatures and relatively few tourist attractions beyond the Liwa Oasis and some sand dunes that are over 300 metres high, if you can afford it, it's the ideal place to spend a couple of days at the Anantara Qasr al Sarab Desert Resort, one of the most spectacular hotels in the world, located in the middle of the desert.
